MORNING EXERCISE ISN’T TORTURE – EVEN CATS DO IT EVERY MORNING!

Many people think that morning exercise is only for "morning people" – those who wake up at 5 a.m., go for a run, and make big plans before breakfast. But that’s not true. Morning exercise is not about the time. It just means moving your body after you wake up. It doesn’t matter if you wake up at 6:00 or 11:30 (thanks, weekend!). Your “morning” starts when you open your eyes.

And if you’re not sure about this – just look at cats.

Cats Know What’s Good for Them

Think about it. Cats only eat when they like the food. They sleep where they feel good. And every time they wake up – they stretch. They move their body, they lift their tail, and then they start their day.

If cats do this every morning, maybe it’s something important. Cats don’t do things they don’t like. They do what feels right.

So, if they stretch after waking up – every time – maybe we should do the same. Maybe cats are the real morning experts!

“I’m Not a Morning Person… Not Even in the Afternoon.”

Have you heard that joke?“I’m not a morning person. I’m not an afternoon person either. I’m more of a sleeping person.”

And that’s okay! You don’t need to love early mornings. Morning exercise is not only for people with green smoothies or yoga tattoos. It’s for anyone who wants to feel better when the day begins.

Why Does It Help?

Our bodies are like computers. After sleep, they need to “wake up” and start working again. A little movement in the morning helps your body feel active, your breathing gets deeper, and your mood gets better.

It helps you feel more present and ready.

And the good news? The good feeling lasts much longer than a cup of coffee.
